Wednesday, January 22, 2020, 10am to noon. Our second January workday is scheduled for Wednesday January 22nd. We will prune ten hedge maples on the 2300 block of Jefferson Street, in front of the South Roanoke United Methodist Church. Since the weather may be cold, let’s try and fit in two hours of work, from 10 a.m. to noon. We can meet at Bob Hiltonsmith and Karen Carroll’s house at 2425 Jefferson Street, diagonally across the street from the work site. We’ll have coffee and maybe hot chocolate and some snacks. Bob’s house will be available during that time for warming up and bathroom breaks. Please use the link above to sign up!
Saturday, February 15, 2020, 9:30 am to noon. Our first work date for February will be on the 15th. We’ll meet at the intersection of Rugby Blvd. NW and 10th St. NW. This intersection is distinguished by a handsome brick entrance to the Rugby neighborhood. Please contact either Bobby ( firstname.lastname@example.org) or me ( email@example.com) if you need more specific directions. We’ll prune and clean up street trees along Rugby Blvd. In case of inclement weather, you’ll receive an email from either Bobby or me alerting you to the need to postpone the workday.
